This great rental option has a cook included in the rental price for 6 days a week (Sunday excluded). Delicious Tuscan dinners are prepared by the chef of the villa using lovely local produce and can be tailored to suit any dietary requirement, the cost of ingredients and drinks, however, is not included. A recently restored 18th-century farmhouse, Il Renaccio, and its large guest house sit in privacy on a soft, round hilltop enclosed by beautiful lawns with olive trees, quite literally surrounded by hilltop towns including San Gimignano and Certaldo. Fully air-conditioned and boasting its own private pool and tennis court, it is a fantastic place to spend long days relaxing and dining outside under the large pergola, or on the lush lawns that encompass the house and the pool. The views are simply superb and offer everything you could hope for in a Tuscan panorama; soft hills that blend into each other and carpeted by olive groves and vineyards, rendered even more magical under the beautiful sunsets. 

While many of the original features remain, the old buildings have been thoroughly modernized and complemented by en suite bathrooms, satellite televisions in every room and air-conditioning throughout the house. A long dining table large enough to fit the entire party lends itself to cheerful gatherings and meals in the evening – we thoroughly recommend to try their chef services, many guests have raved about the delicious and sumptuous meals that can be prepared. 

Despite the comforts of the inside, guests are likely to spend their days in the garden, particularly in the enormous pergola that overlooks the swimming pool and offers spectacular views of the countryside. A terrace amply supplied with loungers connects the loggia with the main house. Further down the hill is the property's private, all-weather tennis court which is a firm favorite with guests who stay here.

The owners are fanatical about locally grown, organic and hand-crafted produce; you can purchase their hearty Chianti wine directly from them and they will also be more than happy to recommend and provide other delectable Tuscan specialties produced in the nearby area. Nearby Certaldo offers every possible amenity you could need within a 5-minute drive, and the timeless San Gimignano with its sights and lovely restaurants is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. The Chianti is within easy reach as well, whilst Florence and Siena lie within one hours’ travel. A perfectly central location to enjoy the earthiness and authenticity of Tuscany.
